Multimedia campaign for the kid fashion brand Fabula 2013 Spring/Summer collection conceived as a tale told through a film with an original song.
As for the previous campaign GRaUhu, I created a tale for the little ones. Told through a song especially conceived for the campaign, "Confete" (« confetti » in portuguese) celebrates life through a story handling the theme of death. I once again invited the magician Domenico Lancellotti to write together the lyrics and compose the original music, sang and played by himself, along with Pedro Baby and Altair Martins. The song's trumpet interludes punctuate the drama : the wind moves along a mix of traditional mexican dance with brazilian funk steps and, yes, moves from the eternal King of Pop. | THE TALE: I constructed the story around two families of prints from the collection : the birds and the traditional calavera (« skull » in spanish). Symbol of the « Dia de los Muertos » (Day of the Dead) holiday, the calavera represents death but also rebirth. Celebrated in Mexico since the Aztec period, the holiday honors the deceased in a very colorful and lively manner, seizing life and death as a never-ending cycle. > Discover hereunder the FILM, the tale’s translation in english, the lookbook pictures as well as the making of celebrating all the humans and flowers who participated to this project.
