NUIT NOMADE

LIVE CINEMA PERFORMANCE : film projection with live drawing and music

Held in the historic Cinema Theater Cine Joia in Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, the event held during the second semester of 2015 was created and curated by musician and visual artist Domenico Lancellotti as a collaboration between music and visual arts. The monthly multidisciplinary event brings together a visual artist with a singer for a unique one-night performance. For the October event, Domenico invited the singer Bruno Capinan and myself to live a memorable night. I projected personal artfilms shooted during my travels in Cuba, Costa Rica and Rio de Janeiro, giving the name to the event: Nuit Nomade ("Nomadic Night" in French), and drew live over the moving images.
